Dr. William Lane Craig vs Kevin Scharp

In this debate Dr. William Lane Craig wins easily.  Kevin Scharp doesn't even bring arguments to the debate.  The topic was evidence for or against God's existence.  Although Craig does bring arguments and evidence for God...Scharp doesn't bring any arguments against God but messes up in the debate and only complains about Craig's evidence.
        As we all know in debate you must bring arguments and debunk your opponents arguments.  Scharp not only fails to debunk any of Craig's arguments but he forgot to bring arguments for his side.  In a weird moment Scharp just shows charts and expresses how he is for Gay Marriage which wasn't even the topic of the debate.
     Craig doesn't even have to debunk any arguments as Scharp didn't bring any.  Let's say Scharp wasn't sharp at all.  The best part of the debate is at the end.  Audience members ask questions and even the audience realizes Scharp lost the debate as they ask him "Where is your evidence" and Scharp has none.

Christian Dinesh D'Souza debates & defeats David Silverman atheist

In this debate David Silverman comes off very mean and angry at Christianity yet he never presents a reason "why" someone should be against it.  Being the one trick pony that David Silverman is he uses the same old and boring arguments against God.  David comes off angry that God doesn't support homosexuality, or abortion but as usual with these Debates the Christian comes off very intelligent.

The Christian is Dinesh D'Souza and he is very polished and skilled as a debater stating facts and providing actual proof and evidence for his claims.  However David comes off as all over the place never really explaining why atheism is better than Christianity?

In the Debate David messes up and quotes atheistic countries as being better but when we looked up the suicide rates they were a lot higher than other normal countries.  Dinesh is very interesting to listen to and he wins this debate by a mile.

Dr. William Lane Craig vs Sam "ho-hum" Harris

In this debate Sam Harris bores the audience to tears as he rambles on about vomit (yes I kid you not) and compares morality to a chess move on a chess board.  Dr. Craig points out that what Sam Harris is really doing is trying to "re-define" morality as good moves on a chess board...but Craig easily points out Harris's error.

    Craig correctly points out that a wrong move in chess is not evil nor is a good move good in the sense of a moral good.  The reviewers of Sam Harris's book pulled no punches when in many words they said "Sam Harris" book is not rational and doesn't follow reason and logic.  Craig very eloquently destroys Sam Harris in this debate or as he is known now "Sam Ho-Hum Harris" as his speaking is so boring that if it wasn't for Craig I think the entire audience would have died of boredom and Sam Harris vomit stories.

Dr. William Lane Craig vs Christopher Hitchens

In this debate Craig dominates the debate with sharp intelligence. Hitchens is rambling and incoherent. Even commonsenseatheism blog which is run by atheists said and we quote " . Frankly, Craig spanked Hitchens like a foolish child. Perhaps Hitchens realized how bad things were for him after Craig’s opening speech, as even Hitchens’ rhetorical flourishes were not as confident as usual.

Atheist Richard Carrier vs Christian David Marshall Is the Christian faith reasonable?

In this debate Richard Carrier tries to show atheism is more rational than Christianity but he never is able to provide proof and evidence that would show atheism is accurate and correct.  Carrier uses the old outdated and errored way of logic that if evil exists then God doesn't exist but it backfires on Carrier in this debate as he obsesses about death and disease in the world.

In this video Dr. William Lane Craig debates Bart Ehrman but Bart never debunks Craigs facts.

Agnostic Aron Ra loses debate to Christian Bob Dutko who gets a KO

Aron Ra goes ape in this debate as Mr. Dutko gets a KO on Aron ra and knocks him out in the first round of this debate.  Aron Ra is challenged to provide proof and evidence that would show atheism is accurate and correct but Aron panics on radio and starts saying 'We are all apes' and rambles on about evolution.  Aron Ra is known for being a "one trick pony" only talking about evolution until you are dying of boredom.
    Bob however is refreshing and kind and keeps Aron focused on answering the question.  But the debate takes a turn for the worse as Aron goes Ape (literally) in debate and once he gets backed into the corner even Bob says to Aron "Aron you are acting all crazy because you are backed into a corner" and suddenly in a spooky weird way Aron Ra says "Nobody backs me into a corner!" and it gets weird.  The debate is very entertaining but if you are atheist or agnostic you won't like this.  Bob Dutko gets a ko...a big Knock Out in this debate and wins this one by a mile.

Dress wearing atheist Matt Dillahunty loses to manly man Christian Cliff Knechtle

In this debate Matt Dillahunty seems out of his league.  Cliff Knechtle dominates the debate with fast logic and common sense but Matt Dillahunty never seems to get his sea legs and seems wobbly right from the start.  Cliff immediately pulls no punches and gets Matt Dillahunty to admit that God may in fact exist. 
    Later in the Q&A section Matt says "I don't know" to many easy softball questions making him out to be agnostic and not atheist.  I think Matt is more comfortable on the cable show where he can hang up on callers or talk over them and control the conversation and guide it his way to where he looks right but in a fair debate he has always lost.  We were hoping Matt Dillahunty would put up some arguments for atheism but instead he backslides to admitting he is agnostic and the whole debate on his side comes off wishy washy.
    Cliffe brings up ShockofGod's masterful question "What evidence do you have that would show atheism is true?....and Matt stumbles, stammers and fails miserably and tries to avoid THE QUESTION   But Cliffe asks again and the crowd even laughs at Matt as they see he is in a pickle.  You kind of feel sorry for Dillahunty as Cliffe totally destroys him in a bad way here.  Matt nervously moves around on the stool (which seems too tiny for him I don't know why they didn't get a big chair) when asked to answer THE QUESTION but alas...he never can and Cliffe scores a knock out punch as Matt evades.   Very painful to watch but it does make for a memorable debate moment that is why we have it here.

     Cliffe on the other hand dominates and is on point every time.  You can tell Cliffe is not new to the debate circuit and is very skilled.  Cliffe actually brings up arguments for his side while Dillahunty is all over the place.  This was an easy win for Cliffe and Matt Dillahunty even admitted he lost this debate later on.  Well we give Matt credit for admitting the truth.  Truth is, Cliffe made Matt "tap out" on the ground within the first 10 minutes.  A great debate if you are a Christian.  If you are agnostic you won't like this. 

John Lennox vs Lawrence Krauss

In this debate audiences were shocked to here that Lawrence Krauss either woke up on the wrong side of the bed that morning or something got him very defensive and grouchy.  Many times the moderator has to step in to calm him down.  After listening to this debate many people are calling Lawrence Krauss "The Mad Scientist" as he comes off mad and crazy in this debate.
    What could have been a meaningful debate is constantly turned into a school boy taunt as Lawrence Krauss unprofessional way of debating and childish personality ruins what could have been a substantive debate.  John Lennox at least is reasonable to listen to and you can tell he's trying to keep Krauss on track and stay on the topic.  Always a gentleman Lennox uses Science and Logic and "what we know about science" to show great evidences of God.
     The debate gets really ugly when Lennox politely talks about the errors in Krauss book, where Krauss said "Nothing created everything".   You can tell Lennox is not the only one that has brought this scientific error to Krauss's attention and Krauss doesn't even try to hide his anger at this.  He lashes out even causing the moderator to try to get Krauss back into some kind of normalcy.   The debate is 1/2 reason and science (when Lennox talks) and the other 1/2 his school play yard anger and whining (on Krauss part).
    Many people are saying Krauss is an embarrassment to science and this is from the atheist side!  Sadly we have to agree with them and John Lennox wins this debate hands down staying on topic while Krauss comes off well...like they are saying...Like a Mad Scientist.

Crowd Laughs at Richard Dawkins fear to debate Dr. William Lane Craig

In this hilarious video Dr. William Lane Craig "Eastwoods" the cowardly lion of atheism..."Richard Dawkins."   Richard Dawkins is out on the debate circuit saying "Put em up...put em up" like the cowardly lion from Oz yet when Dr. William Lane Craig requests to debate Richard Dawkins, RICHARD DAWKINS COWERED.

Everybody has lost any ounce of respect for Dawkins as his cowardice and refusal to debate really makes atheism look bad.  However that being said it leads to a lot of fun.  What is really interesting to find out is that Dr. William Lane Craig is actually very funny.  I got a great ab work out laughing so hard at this video.  If you listen closely you can hear a grinding sound....that would be Richard Dawkins teeth as he sit and cowers in anger as thousands of people (this was filmed live in front of an audience) are laughing around the world.
I think Richard Dawkins should do a 1 on 1 debate (they never have done one as Dawkins is scared) with Dr. Craig.  Everybody knows Craig would win but at least it would add to more credibility to Dawkins but the fact that Dawkins refuses seems like he's actually terrified and panicky.

Antony Flew atheist (He later admits God exists on video) vs Dr. William Lane Craig

This debate was done before Antony Flew left atheism.  If you look for a video by Lee Strobel he actually interviews the late great Flew right before he dies and Flew admits that there has to be a God for all this order and design in the world.  This confession shocked the atheist community and many atheists denied it saying it was a theistic rumor that was started but when video was produced all atheists could do was admit that he left atheism and admitted God does exist.  

UPDATE: We believe Flew left atheism after debating extremely intelligent theists like Dr. William Lane Craig.  Flew had a deep respect for his wisdom and kindness and respect during their debates and many believe this made Flew look closer at what his Christian opponent was stating.  Sure enough Flew eventually admitted that there is a God.

Austin Dacey vs Dr. William Lane Craig

Austin Dacey can have his cake and eat it too in this debate folks.  However Dr. William Lane Craig walks away with an easy win here as he defeats the "cake obsessing" Austin Dacey.  In a very weird debate (this is why we like it! never boring with these debates) the atheist tries to say that because there is no cake in the kitchen therefore God doesn't exist lol.  I am not making this up folks.

Viewers of this debate are saying Dacey is guilty of Strawman syndrome big time in this debate.  Dacey talks about an imaginary cake someone said they are going to bake but if you don't see broken egg shells and you don't smell cake there is no cake.   The audience seems to laugh a bit through this debate but I think it is at...Dacey not ..with...Dacey.  Rather than give arguments against God's existence Dacey is guilty of the strawman argument.  Craig wins this one.

UPDATE: Craig and Dacey get along great and debated again and this time Dacey left his Betty Crocker cake mix at home lol.  I think he his learning from his past debates that "The cake makes him lose."

Christopher Hitchens vs Dr. William Lane Craig

When Christopher Hitchens and Dr. Craig met it was like the top Christian debater vs the top atheist debater.  During Hitchens opening comments he was entertaining and great to listen to.  Same thing with Dr. Craig.  However it all falls apart for Hitchens when he starts running from Dr. Craigs question.   Even Commonsenseatheism (An atheist blog) admits Craig won this debate.  In a brilliant move Craig gets Hitchens to admit either he is agnostic or atheist.
     Hitchens trys to run from the question but Craig goes in for the kill and finally pins Hitchens down when Hitchens says he is atheist and God can't exist.  In that moment Hitchens made a truth claim and now has to back it up.  This is where Craig takes control of the debate and Hitchens hits the mat for the knock out punch.  Atheists were very upset at Hitchens failure to bring arguments to this debate.  It seems like Craig was prepared for the debate but Hitchens spent most of his time talking bad about Islam and other things which wasn't even the topic of the debate.  Craig wins this one.

UPDATE: After this debate Richard Dawkins began to cower from any 1 vs 1 debate with Craig.  Even Sam Harris has stated that and we quote him "Dr. Craig has put the fear of God into some of my atheist colleagues".

Atheist vs Christian Micky vs Shockofgod

As always ShockofGod vs Atheist debates are very entertaining.  ShockofGod has stated that "Debates need to be more entertaining to attract the masses".  We think of ShockofGod as the John McEnroe of debaters as he brings a lot of audience to his debates.  In this debate Micky says he is an atheist but during the debate he switches to being an agnostic.  Micky and ShockofGod have a great back and forth as the moderator of the debate let's them go at it.  Another classic debate moment.

Christopher Hitchens admits he lost debate to John Lennox

In a very humble fashion atheist Christopher Hitchens gets candid on video and admits that he could not prove that his atheism was true.  He then goes on to admit that John Lennox bested him in debate.  On top of that Hitchens talks about how they had an audience vote and the audience also agreed Hitchens lost and Lennox won.  In the video you can see the kindness that both Lennox felt for Hitchens and Hitchens felt for Lennox.    A rare video but a classic never the less.

Another "Gotcha" moment in debate this time by an audience member!

In this classic moment in debate a woman asks the atheist how he could believe atheism is true if he admits he has no evidence showing it's true?  In a weird twist the atheist admits he can't prove that his atheism is true but then he says "I am not claiming God doesn't exist".   It gets very uncomfortable as the atheist seems very uneasy about the corner the lady paints him into with her question.

In this debate most people agree Dr. William Lane Craig won.  During this debate Harris struggled to show how he could ground his morality in the atheist world view.  This was a highly technical debate but Craig does a great job of showing how Harris's Atheism cannot ground morality at all.

In this epic debate a group of atheists challenge a group of Christians to debate.  But rather than being silly and entertaining (although part of it were and we love that!) it turns to a deeper issue about loving our fellow man even if they are atheist or Christian and the debate really gets deep.  Many viewers of this video have said it was so awesome they broke down in tears at how well this debate was conducted.
   This debate is in my opinion the best group debate between atheists and Christians.

Funny Debate atheist goes nuts in debate dropping book on table

The reasons why we created debates on video blog

I started this blog because I had become increasingly fascinated with debates and
debate topics.  As I watched debate after debate it became obvious to me that
this was a way for people to settle their differences and discuss differences
in opinion in a civil way yet interesting and even entertaining way. 
If only wars could be settled with debates? 

Imagine the bloodshed that would be avoided.  I began to have a deep respect for the men and women who are willing to debate because they are willing to put their belief and opinion up to scrutiny
of an opponent but not just that, in front of a large audience.  To me this is
the highest form of civility and kindness to debate an opponent in an open forum.
